La voix lumineuse et gracile de Lea Desandre fait le bonheur de l’opéra, baroque tout d’abord lorsqu’elle est embarquée par William Christie qui la découvre en son Jardin des Voix en 2015, mozartien ensuite, notamment aux festivals de Salzbourg et d’Aix-en-Provence. Le luth de Thomas Dunford bouleverse quant à lui tout autant par ses continuos inventifs que seul en scène. Leur passion nourrie pour la musique baroque ne contrarie en rien leur idylle partagée pour le répertoire de la chanson française. De là est né ce programme intimiste et éclectique, qui est aussi un album, traversant air de cour, mélodie ou opéra romantique revisités et variété française. Au fil des siècles et au gré de l’amour.
