Phrasé généreux, sonorité miroitante, élégante virtuosité : depuis sa révélation en 2016, la violoniste Liya Petrova fait l’unanimité auprès du public, de la presse comme de ses partenaires de scène. Elle fait aussi le bonheur du public de La Grange au Lac, dont elle est un visage familier, en concerto comme en musique de chambre. Le pianiste russe Pavel Kolesnikov, au vaste spectre sonore, lui fait miroir dans ce programme conditionné aux caprices inventifs de la variation : de Mozart à Messiaen en passant par la très célèbre sonate de Beethoven dédiée à Kreutzer, les deux interprètes, chambristes éclairés, sont invités à déployer un somptueux kaléidoscope de dynamiques et de couleurs.
